We want your experience to be smooth, positive, and stress-free. To avoid any disappointment on the day of your appointment, it’s important that we first confirm your eligibility for cosmetic tattooing.
Before requesting a booking, please take a moment to carefully read through the questions below. If everything applies to you, you’re welcome to proceed with your booking request and follow the instructions provided.
If you’re unsure whether cosmetic tattooing is suitable for you, we encourage you to submit a Booking Request Form and include any information that may affect your eligibility. This allows us to review your details and guide you appropriately before scheduling your appointment.

Failure to disclose any information, or bypassing the cosmetic tattoo eligibility check will mean you will not be tattooed and your deposit will be forfeited.

Age Requirement
You must be 18 years or older to receive cosmetic tattooing in Australia.
Photo ID may be requested if you appear under 25.
Pregnancy, Fertility & Breastfeeding
Cosmetic tattooing cannot be performed during pregnancy.
You may book after giving birth; however, waiting up to 12 months postpartum is often recommended to allow hormones to stabilise.
If you are actively trying to conceive (including IVF), please wait until after birth to proceed.
Breastfeeding clients are advised to wait until breastfeeding has ceased. If proceeding during breastfeeding, this is done at your own risk and requires medical clearance and a doctor’s certificate.
Existing Cosmetic Tattoos & Corrections
Please disclose any previous cosmetic tattoos and provide clear photos (close-up, good lighting, no makeup).
If you are seeking asymmetry correction, please mention this and provide photos.
Perfection is not achievable, and results depend on individual anatomy and muscle movement.
Injectables & Cosmetic Treatments
Muscle relaxants (Botox/Dysport):
Must be done at least 2 weeks before or after tattooing.
Dermal fillers:
Allow 2 weeks before and after tattooing in the same area.
Medical Conditions & Medications
Most medical conditions and medications are acceptable but must be disclosed.
Some conditions require medical clearance.
Clients undergoing cancer treatment must have cosmetic tattooing completed before chemotherapy.
Blood clotting disorders, HIV/AIDS, or immune conditions require doctor approval and a medical certificate.
Anaesthetics & Allergies
Cosmetic tattooing requires the use of topical anaesthetics.
If you have experienced reactions to topical or injected anaesthetics (e.g. dental), please disclose this before booking.
Please list all allergies, including reactions to hair dyes, tints, henna, or medical treatments.
Skin Conditions & Healing Factors
Active skin conditions (eczema, psoriasis, acne, dermatitis, infections) must be cleared before treatment.
Moles, scars, or skin cancer history must be disclosed with photos.
Scar tissue may not retain pigment; tattooing is generally delayed 12 months post-injury.
History of keloid scarring requires medical clearance and additional consent.
Cold Sores (Lip Tattoo Clients)
Lip tattooing carries a high risk of cold sore outbreaks.
Medical advice and preventative medication are required prior to treatment.
Please disclose this in your Booking Request Form.
Lifestyle & Supplements
Avoid fish oil for at least 7 days prior (unless medically prescribed).
Avoid caffeine, sugar, pre-workout stimulants for 24 hours before treatment.
Avoid hair growth serums for 3 months before and after brow tattooing.
Please list all supplements and herbal remedies.
Mental Health
Please disclose any mental health conditions so we can ensure appropriate care and support.
Events, Activities & Healing Time
Cosmetic tattooing requires 7–14 days to settle visually and 4 weeks to fully heal.
No makeup on the treated area for 7 days.
Avoid swimming, sweating, heat, and exercise for 7–14 days.
Avoid facials, exfoliants, and active skincare 30 days before and after treatment.
Burns & Skin Trauma
Tattooing cannot be performed on recently burned skin.
Please wait at least 6 weeks after sunburn, windburn, or chemical burns.
Blood Donation
Blood donation is not permitted for 6 months after cosmetic tattooing.
Test Patch
If requested, a test patch can be performed in a discreet area.
Must be completed at least 7 days before your initial appointment.
